New Professional Development Training Program
Continuing Education Credit
LIMITED ENROLLMENT & NO COST!

Think River! will begin an annual 3-part watershed education program beginning Oct. 4, 2003. The program will provide teachers and students opportunities to learn about our rivers and watersheds in a fun environment!

A Think River! Teacher Education Workshop will be held @ Azusa Pacific University Oct. 4,03. Teachers will receive hands-on training, curriculum notebooks, continuing education credit and stipend. A Second teacher workshop is now being planned for later in the school year.

The Think River! High School Mentor Training Program will begin in April 2004. Students will learn about the San Gabriel River while also being trained to take part in youth education and other public involvement activities.

The 5th Grade Think River! Youth Watershed Conference will be held May 25, 04 @ Rincon Station in San Gabriel Canyon. Students will participate in filed workshops and brainstorming activities on the San Gabriel River.
